Full Arch Dental Implants In Wyoming, MI
If you are missing an entire upper or lower jaw of teeth, or both, we understand just how upsetting this can be, but we also understand just how important it is to get a full smile again. This is why the dental team here at Metro Dental Associates offers a full-arch dental implant system to those dealing with significant tooth loss. Whether you’re coming into our office without teeth or you still have natural teeth remaining, we can sit down with you to determine if full arch dental implants are the best tooth replacement solution for your needs.

How does the full arch dental implant system work?
This unique tooth-replacement system makes it possible to replace up to 12 missing teeth using only five or six dental implants (instead of placing a dental implant for each individual tooth). If natural teeth need to be extracted beforehand, we will place temporary teeth the same day as the extraction until the extraction sites have fully healed. From there, we will use computer technology to guide us to the exact site to surgically place your implants within the jawbone.

Thanks to advanced technology, we ensure incredible accuracy when placing dental implants, as well as minimally invasive techniques for a faster recovery process. The process for replacing upper versus lower teeth is a bit different, with the lower full arch dental implant restoration being a faster process. In fact, once dental implants are placed into the lower jawbone, it can take as little as five weeks to attach the false teeth to the top of the implants.

Once the false teeth are attached to the implants this will fully restore your smile. Not only will this give you a natural-looking set of teeth that others won’t know aren’t your own, but full arch dental implants fully restore chewing and speaking, making you confident in your ability to laugh, talk and eat the foods you love without worrying about the durability and strength of your new teeth.

As with any dental restorations, maintenance and care are incredibly important for improving the lifespan of your new teeth. Our dental team will provide you with recommendations and comprehensive care instructions to ensure that you know how to properly care for your new smile.
